Description :
A good example of 'Portalled A Dolmen' of the Irish Dec Groups. It is known as Allor Moloch and consists of a number of orthostats defining a rectangular chamber and supporting a large capstone (11ft x 10ft 3ins); at the SE end of the chamber are two portal stones 6ft 6ins apart, the one 6ins high and the other 4ft 8ins. There is no trace of any barrow. <1>

As described above. Resurveyed at 1/2500. See G.P. AO/G2/11/3. <2>

No change. <5>

Portalled 'A' dolmen in very good condition. Subrectangular chamber formed by 6 or 7 orthostats partially support a massive capstone 2.2 x 2.8m and 1m thick. Two orthostats stand on the south-east, both about 1.9m in height from floor of chamber - both are 0.8 x 0.5m at base. Capstone has fallen on the north-east side but south-west side still well supported. Interior a little eroded by sheep which use it as a shelter. (Smith, 2002)
